About this Item

188 pages. Dimensions: 8.5in. x 5.5in. x 0.4in.We know that the Word of God is living and powerful, with the potential to dramatically impact the heart for God. The passages of the Bible enlighten and enliven us, but most of us have a limited view of how the parts of the Word relate to each other. What if we could have a comprehensive grasp of the whole of Scripture, so that we could see the big picture What if we could see the whole illuminated by the truths that bind the parts as one book Plugged-in to the Dynamic Word familiarizes us with the thought form and allows us to see the parts of the Bible as a united message. In this experience, we can subject our hearts to the collective impact of the Word, be more in touch with Gods basic thoughts, and draw closer to the heart of God. A builder could introduce the parts of a house to a totally uninformed person, who could admire the straightness of the stud, the massiveness of the floor joist, the structure of the truss rafter, and so on. But only when he sees that each part is intended to connect to the other parts to form a house can he fully appreciate their value and joyfully look forward to having a home from the parts he originally admired. Plugged-in to the Dynamic Word shows the orderly connectivity of the parts of the Bible to portray a whole spiritual house of Gods truth and grace housing His people. http: youtube. comwatch vXy9zQ4KaqcQ This item ships from multiple locations. Synopsis:

We know that the Word of God is living and powerful, with the potential to dramatically impact the heart for God. The passages of the Bible enlighten and enliven us, but most of us have a limited view of how the parts of the Word relate to each other. What if we could have a comprehensive grasp of the whole of Scripture, so that we could see the big picture? What if we could see the whole illuminated by the truths that bind the parts as one book? Plugged-in to the Dynamic Word familiarizes us with the thought form and allows us to see the parts of the Bible as a united message. In this experience, we can subject our hearts to the collective impact of the Word, be more in touch with God's basic thoughts, and draw closer to the heart of God. From the Inside Flap:

As we overview Scripture, we see that the themes of faith, love, and hope prevail in the narratives and teachings. This shows us that the central message of the Word can be defined as spiritual conquest through faith, love, and hope. This message speaks to the need to overcome the three avenues of sin identified in the Bible: the pride of life (humanism), the lust of the flesh (sensualism), and the lust of the eyes (materialism). Faith makes us strong through dependency on God so it conquers the pride of life that makes us weak in prideful self- dependence. Love, the godly kind, wholeheartedly loves the Lord and develops God-centered, fulfilling desires so it conquers the empty, self-centered lusts (sinful loves) of the flesh. Hope places hope in the rewarding promises of God so it conquers the disappointing lusts of the eyes that place idolizing hope in earthly and material things-- the things seen with the eyes. In observing this phenomena, we come to more fully know the truth that sets us free from humanism, sensualism, and materialism to conquer the world for Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. What joy and peace we experience in this abundant life!
