This hardcover book is square and tight. The green boards and spine have only moderate shelfwear with pristine gilt. The points and extremities are touched. The pages are clean, with no markings or folds (save the title page) and with mild even toning. The endpages have numerous scribbles and signatures in a childs hand, and a penned gift inscription dated 12/26/1875. The hinges are loosening. Not ex-lib. No remainder mark.
