About this Item

Doubleday, Doran and Company, Inc., NY. A look at the political events in Britian and how they affected the military events during the first two years of WWI. Beaverbrook ran the Canadian Records office in London. After Lloyd George became the British Prime Minister, in 1916, George made Beaverbrook a Lord and a cabinet member as the Minister of Information. Signed by Brigadier General Henry J Reilly, who served as a brigade commander in the 42nd Infantry Division in WWI. Also has a label from The Henry J. Reilly Memorial Library. The book has periodic pencil underlining and column notes from General Reilly, in addition there are a couple of notes on the inside back cover. Good+ copy of the stated first edition. The book has a little sun staining on the spine and a tape mark across the lower portion of the spine. No dust jacket. 264 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 29199
