Black cloth boards have bright gilt lettering on the spine. Extremities are trifle rubbed. Covers are very clean. Spine is a trifle cocked, very slightly bumped and rubbed at head and foot. Inscription on the front free endp. as follows, "June '83/ To Laura/ with much love,/ Cass." Text is very clean, embellished with b/w illustrations. Binding is sound and tight. D.j. is clean, complete, and intact. Spine is sunned, flap folds, spine folds are a trifle rubbed, as well as extremities. Extremities have a few very tiny closed tears.
