We are invited, I believe, to awaken as this process. The very Spirit in us is invited to become self-conscious, or even, as some would say, superconscious. Depth increases from subconscious to self-conscious to superconscious, on the way to it own shocking recognition, utterly one with the radiant All, and we awaken as that oneness. Maybe the evolutionary sequence really is from matter to body to mind to soul to spirit, each transcending and including, each with a greater depth and greater consciousness and wider embrace. And in the highest reaches of evolution, maybe, just maybe, an individuals consciousness does indeed touch infinity-a total embrace of the entire Kosmos-a Kosmic consciousness that is Spirit awakened to its own true nature. I think the sages are the growing tip of the secret impulse of evolution. I think they are the leading edge of the self-transcending drive that always goes beyond what went before. I think they embody the very drive of the Kosmos toward greater depth and expanding consciousness. I think they are riding the edge of a light beam racing toward a rendezvous with God. And I think they point to the same depth in you, and in me and the all of us. I think they are plugged into the All, and the Kosmos sings through their voices, and Spirit shines through their eyes. About the Author:

Herb Robinson holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, and a Masters in Arts in College Teaching degree from Eastern Washington University, Cheney, Washington. He is a published author, seminar presenter, consultant, and an educator who directs an intern training site for the Eastern Washington University School of Social Work. He has been a college teacher, establishing a Humanities Department and teaching five Philosophy courses, Art and Music in the humanities. He developed and taught credit and non-credit courses for colleges and universities. He has done organizational development consulting for schools, colleges, and businesses. He is currently preparing what he calls The Herb Robinson Collection-a series of books that capture the broad range of his interests over the years. His most recent published books include: Through the Eyes of Wounded Men: An Examination of the Interior Psychological Constructs of Men Who Perpetrate Intimate Partner Violence; An Innovative Educational Design for Healing Wounded Men; The Transformational Process: How people Change; and Possibilities of Human Consciousness. Over a period of 40 years he has counseled couples in conflict, and for 20 years he has worked with men arrested for intimate partner violence. He has conducted treatment programs in over ten judicial jurisdictions, treating over 3,000 men. He is currently a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a National Board Certified Counselor, and a Washington State Certified Perpetrator Treatment Program Supervisor. Dr. Herb Robinson is currently the director of Tapio Counseling in Spokane, Washington where he is a Psychotherapist for families, couples in conflict, and court mandated men arrested for domestic violence.
