HEN-PECKED HUSBANDS CLUB. Postcard and two placecards from A. E. Newton's Hen-Pecked Husbands Club. Also two AEN printed bookplates and a small card with an illustration of Oak Knoll[?]. One HPHC card folded, else fine. The HPHC was started by Newton and some of his friends for fun and occasional all-male dinner parties. Their motto was "My wife won't let me.".
