Klinger, a German artist of Jewish descent is considered by many the father of "branding": using graphics and graphic design to convey the message of the brand, and the first to use a logo not only on the product itself, but also on buildings, billboards and adverts. Book label of Paul Struck (New York City bookseller) and two small library stamps inside front and back paste-downs, interior contents very fresh and bright. Recased in blue cloth. Near fine.
