About this seller
Back when daily comic strips were part of many newspapers, King Features Syndicate decided to create its own science fiction adventure strip to compete with Buck Rogers. They approached cartoon artist Alex Raymond to create Flash Gordon. In the 1970's Avon commissioned science fiction writer Ron Goulart to turn some of the stories into Paperback originals.
