8.75" x 5.25". 102, plus 13pp. addendum. Brown cloth, leather title label mounted on the front board. Cloth split at the hinges in a couple places, residue of an old shelf label on the front board, 1" excision at the top of the title leaf, a few interesting margin notes and title leaf with handwritten corrections. Generally VG / VG+ condition; not near fine. With a note below the excision on the title leaf reading "presented by the author." An interesting book, with much on barometers, chronometers and other technical nautical equipment, storms, harbors, duties of commanders, life buoys, navigation, tides, meetings at sea, accidents of all kinds, maritime law, and more.
