Brown cloth boards have bright gilt stamped sheep in the center of the front cover, four corners have blind-stamped decorations. Rear cover has blind-stamped sheep in the center as well as the decorative corners. Spine has gilt lettering and sheep decoration. Extremities are rubbed and/or worn in places. Covers are rubbed. Spine is faded, head and foot are bumped and rubbed, head is missing a small chip. Front hinge is a bit loose. Front free endp. and fly leaf have some small closed tears near the joint. Some of the top corners are dog-earred in the middle of the text. Leading edge and lower edge are stained. Moderate foxing and/or soiling throughout the text, not interfering with legibility.
