First edition. First printing. This book is in unread condition, tight, square and sound. there are some small patches on the inside of the front cover where it looks like a previous owner's bookplate was removed, they are mostly under the front jacket flap and do not detract at all. The jacket has some closed tears and wear at the top and bottom of the jacket spine, also some wear at the tips of the jacket flaps where they fold over the boards, there is also a tear on the jacket where the top, glossy part is off, this area is about a half inch wide starting at the front about a third of the way up from the bottom and extending around the spine to the back of the jacket, in total about four inches long, the jacket is in a Brodart protective plastic sleeve. The boards are black cloth with gold gilt lettering. We ship in cardboard boxes, and guarantee satisfaction. Bookseller Inventory # 21921
