About this Item

Stated first printing. Offhand, this might seem an odd title for such a discussion, but as the author points out in his Foreword, 'Pricing the risks, preventing losses, and what might be called policing the human factor' were serious considerations in liability coverage -- as they are today. A rather specialized, although interesting, discussion illustrated with period (B&W) paintings and woodcuts. A very nice copy with a couple of cover spots. 62 pp. Bookseller Inventory # 11602
