Dust jacket has very heavy wear, chipping, soil, long edge tears and numerous pieces missing. Book has minor wear and soil. Corners and ends of spine bumped and rounded. Binding tight. Ink writing inside front cover. xii + 403 pages including index. Ida Lee Bailey was considered an expert on cooking during her time with more than 20 cookbooks to her name. This one has recipes to use high pressure to speed cook foods although most of the recipes do not use a pressure cooker. The recipes include bananas baked in skins, four fruits cake, beef stew, squash soup, fish chowder, corn bread stuffing, lamb creole, smoked beef tongue and tomato sauce.
