His actions proved corrupt and he became the epitome of a the carperbagger. There is a signed dedication on the first page. Written by President Franklin Roosevelt s last Press Secretary. Very good copy of the stated first edition in a good- dust jacket. The dust jacket has some edge wear and is also missing a 1 inch by 1 inch section of the back cover. 319 pages.
