The narrator is a wealthy ex-stockbroker who travels to Petrograd shortly after the revolution in search of his missing son-in-law. While there he experiences the chaos of revolution while rescuing two beautiful Russian women from the Bolsheviks (and in the process, briefly kidnapping Lenin). One of the harder titles from this early prolific adventure/ mystery author. A good-only copy with stamping and inscription from an American Consul General of Lisbon, penciling and toning to end-sheets, binding a bit loose, covers a bit soiled. (frnc).
