Reinecke; from the collection of the linguist, Glenn Gilbert, with Gilbert's inscription on the ffep stating that he received the book from John E. Reinecke August 21, 1975, small amount of shelfwear, some spine sunfading, rated Near Fine; Chen Yu-Hsi apparently prevailed and fared better later in life with the overthrow of the Taiwanese dictatorship -- a Google search shows Chen to be a Professor at the Department of Religious Studies, Fu Guang University, Taiwan (if this Chen Yu-Hsi is the same person); see also Taipei Times, Sunday Profile, August 31, 2008 ( where Chen is listed among "those who helped break the oppressors' back"; Reinecke and his wife Aiko Reinecke aided and supported Chen in every way possible, one of Reinecke's last efforts before his death; this copy was sent to me as soon as it became available; soft covers are red with black lettering, the publisher's logo on the spine and Chen's name in Chinese characters on the front; 12mo -- 7 1/4 inches high, xi + 228 numbered pages.
