The text block is bound in with exceptional sturdiness. Fore- and bottom edges deckled to a handsome effect. With xvii and 191 numbered pages, interleaved with duotone full-page plates and followed by numerous tipped-in photo-portraits of women who figured prominently in the planning and execution of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Also with B&W headband illustrations to the text chapters. Previous owner name, date and place in a very neat ink hand to a front FEP. Off-setting from the pastedowns to the opposite FEPs. Moderate age darkening at the tops of several pages. Else a very clean copy, and fairly tight. Gently read. A Very Good copy. Somewhat rare and hard to find in the limited edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Bookseller Inventory #
