Original blue cloth with silver lettering on front cover. 7 X 10 1/2 inches. 66 pages. Printed on one side of leaf only. The printed pages facing each other. Deckled edges. Copy has a black and white portrait of McKinley. McKinley (1843-1901) was the 25th President of the United States and the last President to of served in the Civil War. This copy contains the memorial address by Charles Emory Smith on the personal virtues and public services of William McKinley. Both covers are lightly soiled. Spine is sun fadedEdges of covers are slightly worn as are the corners and the head and tail. Pages 12 & 13 have a small spot, text is not affected. On the first pages a small rubber stamp mark reads, "Compliments of E. R. Ford: Financial Clerk, Senate," with the initials "L.L.M. and A.L.
