[4] pages; portrait; paper wrapper (6 x 10 5/8 inch). Sophie Braslau (1902-1935) an American and leading contralto on the opera stage. She toured the United States and Europe until becoming sick in the early 1930s. The Program is for a recital dated 17 February 1922 at the Clunie Theater. Mrs. Ethel Cave-Cole was at the Piano. The Saturday Club was formed in Sacramento in 1893 to expose the public to music and create scholarships for young musicians through a series of concerts.
