96pp. Date circa 1930-1940. Errata Slip on page 11, tipped in. Top and Bottom of spine bumped, cloth on both the front and back covers have bubbles in cloth. First and second signatures slightly loose, spine is also slightly loose but hinges are tight. This book was written for the up and coming craftsman to learn how to go on to exhibition honours. The author's goal in this book was to bring everyone in the trade into line with others who practice the latest and best methods ruling the production of confectionery at this time. There are many black and white illustrations throughout the book along with recipes. There are 5 pages of advertisments in book. A very wonderful older book on the art of confectionery.
