About this title

A collection of nature and spirit poems of the Hills and Isles, inspired by the Holy Isle of Iona, the Outer Hebrides, the Dnipro Valley of Ukraine, the Hudson Valley of New York, and the Adirondack Mountains.

About the Author:

Walter William Melnyk is the grandson of Ukrainian farmers, a spiritual child of the Scottish Hebrides, and a retired priest in the Episcopal Church. He draws upon this rich background to present an anthology of nature poetry that spans nearly fifty years of a life's journey, and half the globe. Melnyk is the author of two novels of ancient Avalon, "The Apple and the Thorn," and "Marsh Tales and Other Wonders. He lives in an old farmhouse in southeastern Pennsylvania with his wife of many years, and a little black schnoodle.
