About this Item

Light green cloth with embossed decoration on front and gilt lettering on spine. The book is about NF except for some very light foxing on foredes and a very old and light dampstain on the back lower left that has caused a slight waviness on the corner of some pages. This stain does not show up on the boards of the book. The only real evidence is the light waviness on the jacket and the pages. The jacket has light edge and corner wear and a couple of very small scuffs. The book is square and securely bound -- a very attractive copy. ; B&W Photograph; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 263 pages; Biography of Tennessee/Kentucky educator who worked for better race relations. Weather ford was ninety when this biography was published. The book is signed, inscribed and dated (1966) by Dykeman on the ffep. ; Signed by Author. Bookseller Inventory # 8987
