About this Item

The first page of text begins: "Address to the nonconformists of the British Empire" and then goes on to explain the costs that will be involved, the topics that will be covered, and the "slant" to be taken. It is signed in type, "John Campbell," and dated in the text. October 6, 1847. Campbell had been editor of the "Christian Witness" and "Christian's Penny Magazine."
