First Edition. 332pp. Separated into four volumes: "Mrs. Siddons as Lady Macbeth," "The Illusion of the First Time in Acting," "Art and the Actor," and "Reflexions [sic] on Acting" with introductions by Henry James, Henry Irving, George Arliss, and Brander Matthews; all four books being sold as an individual entity. Books in GOOD condition with heavy wear specific to the spine; tearing on each spine with top of spine missing on three books, exposing the back end; name of author still visible on all four spines, though some of the crumpled cloth obscures the names lightly; shelf wear on each book and bending, both light and medium, on each corner; light tearing on two tops of cover and wear on the other two.
