Light rubbing to exterior, moderate toning to interior, light foxing to a few leaves, a few small dampspots and light soiling to title page. Brief early annotations to a few leaves, interior otherwise clean. * Second edition, published the same year as the first. Originally published in Paris, this anonymous handbook outlines the legal privileges of ambassadors and others involved in diplomatic work. As one would expect, it is grounded in principles derived from Roman law. Another edition was published in Strassburg in 1616. All three are scarce.
