This copy is in fine condition with soft-blue paper covers with a swirling design over beige cloth spine-strip with paper label on the spine. The spine label is in fine condition with red lettering. The paper covers show virtually no handling or time wear and the interior text pages are in fine condition with only offsetting to the endpapers from glue influence. The text features unevenly cut fore-edges and this shows no sign of dampening or handling wear. The book includes a beautiful colored folding map at the rear showing a mapmakers conception of the new world in 1525. All in all a beautiful piece of printing done through the Grabhorn Press and is number 4 in the Series of California Classics. 47 pages.
