Previous ownership's signature on front free endpaper. Second edition. Queen Mòo aws a mythical Mayan queen who was believed to be a historical person by Plongeon who studied the statues and paintings at Chichen Itza. After the murder of her husband, she fled in search of the Land of Mu (Atlantis); finding that it had disappeared, she was believed to have continued to Egypt where she became the basis for the Egyptian goddess Isis.
