Title: RENAISSANCE ARCHITECTURE OF ENGLAND, ITS ...
Publisher: John Wiley & Sons
Publication Date: 1938
Illustrator: Black & White Plates
Book Condition: VG/--
Book Description John Wiley and Sons, Inc., New York; and Chapman and Hall, Ltd., London, 1938. Cloth. Book Condition: Good. No Jacket. 116 pages. Hardcover. Lacking a dustjacket, if one was issued on publication. Significant soiling to the cloth covered board binding, with a bump to the right front edge and corners. Cloth is lifting slightly in an area on the front cover, and there is some staining to the foredge, in addition to the general tanning to the pages due to age. The previous owner's name is neatly stamped on the inside front panel. For all of that, the binding remains tight, and the interior is clean and clear of markings. Texts are in English, accompanied by dozens of reproductions of graphite drawings of significant architectural accomplishments that are discussed in the book. Bookseller Inventory # 014037
