Book Description US Government, Washington DC, 1967. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Oversized hardcover. Black cloth with gray lettering. Presidential seal in gold on the front cover. 241 pages plus short section of photographs. No publication date or place, but certainly government printers in early 1967. Includes the State of the Union Address in 1967, as well as more than 20 other presidential addresses and reports from the winter and spring of 1967. Very good condition. Bookplate with presidential seal was affixed to free endpaper, but has now come off, leaving rectangular area of glue. Bookplate, which is present & can easily be re-attached to the spot, has presidential seal & calligraphed inscription, "To Ted Knap with every good wish" signed by Johnson below. This may be (may even be likely to be) an autopen signature, but even these seem to be quite scarce -- other copies on ABE are all to prominent colleagues -- Ted Knap was the chief White House correspondent for the Scripps Howard news service, a senior White House reporter and someone who would certainly have been known to LBJ. Please email with questions or to request photos. Signed by Author(s). Seller Inventory # R-120
