Description:

First Edition, ADVANCE REVIEW COPY. With a frontispiece portrait of Robert Frost, black and white photographs of many of his books and a photograph of a manuscript poem. 8vo, original review copy binding of brown paper wrappers, unprinted but lettered in manuscript "Robert Frost A Bibliography - Advance copy for review 3-26-37" in pencil on the upper cover and "Frost" on the spine. 158, including index. A surprisingly well preserved copy for an advance review, all in very good order with only minor edge wear, the wrapper detached as the glue on the spine has aged and given way. SCARCE, REVIEW COPY. This bibliography is hard to find in and of itself as it was a limited printing of only 650 copies. We know of no other advance review copies on the market. An important comprehensive (to date) bibliography in the Frost oeuvre. Includes collations, first appearances of poems in books and periodicals, readings of poems on Victrola records, parodies, essays and reviews, books dedicated to Frost, etc. A fascinating and useful piece of Frostiana.
