Limited Edition of 100 numbered, stamped, and signed copies of the original silver-gelatin print. Full framed size is 19 X 25 inches. Numbered, stamped, and signed by the photographer. Presents Ian Dickson's "Rod Stewart, 1974". The single most celebrated picture taken by the photographer, an utterly charming snapshot of the young rock star in his pajamas. Ian Dickson had a unique relationship with some of the greatest names in popular music. Many of them considered him a friend and allowed him to photograph them in the most intimate and casual settings. In 1994, a selection of Dickson's work was shown at the MTV Awards, at the British Awards Alexandra Palace, and at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo and Copenhagen. His Portfolio was published in the March 1995 issue of GQ magazine and in August, he was recognised by the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame And Museum for this Rod Stewart "Pajama Portrait". An absolute "must-have" item for Rod Stewart and rock music collectors. This original silver-gelatin print is Number 3, and it is very prominently and beautifully titled, numbered, and signed in pencil and stamped on recto by Ian Dickson. This print is now collectible. As far as we know, this is the only such framed and signed copy available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean, crisp, and bright, a pristine beauty. Please note: Copies typically sell for $1500. This is a surely and accessible and lovely alternative. A rare signed copy thus. One of the finest living music photographers. A fine collectible copy.
