Past owner's ink signature on front pastedown but hidden underneath dj's front flap; ink signature repeated on title page; bookseller ticket for Boston's famed Old Corner Book Store affixed at front free endpaper's bottom left corner. Some occasional pencil underlining and margin marks within text. Binding is firm. A good+ copy in a very good- dust jacket. Uncommon book by the prolific British novelist and children's author.
