Green cloth, floral and gilt stamped decoration to front board and spine with former rubbed but latter marred by surface chipping and abraded patches, cloth loss as frayed spine ends, board corners bumped and worn, soiling and mottling to rear board. Strong toning to edges with several patches of abrasion and soiling. Various binding splits result a number of quires pulled and/or sagging from rest of text block. Some foxing and staining to interior pages. Uncommon Mississippi bookseller sticker (probably circa 1960s or 1970s) affixed at top of front pastedown: "Montgomery | Flowers & Antiques | West Point, Miss." A fair copy of an uncommon book.
