In brown leather boards, gilt titles and decoration, very good, clean, tight, straight covers. The "Clevedon Community Bookshop Co-operative Bindery Team" have re-attached the front boards to spine using fraynot, without disturbing endpapers. They also fed and cleaned the leather. Spine tight, with gilt titles and coloured decorated back strip, tail end frayed. Endpapers in brown, mottled paper, clean. Cut edges deckled, except for top edge which is gilt. Text block only lightly tanned; each page has turquoise borders and decoration, with 16 delicate tipped-in coloured illustrations by Willy Pogany.
