Very near fine in tan cloth with black lettering and illustration on front cover, in a near fine dust jacket with Clara M. Burd's illustration of Ruth standing by a wall wearing a red cape and clasping a book to her bosom. (gift inscription in pencil dated 1930, easily erasable; some wear to top edge of dj spine.)
