The pages are unmarked except for a penciled price on the ffep. Great frontispiece photograph of bridalveil falls by Ansel Adams. The illustrated dust jacket (now in mylar) is bright and whole, showing light edge wear and spotting. This volume is a comprehensive treatise on the era of commercial railroading in Yosemite, wjich was from about 1890 (when congress made Yosemite a National park) to the 1940s when available timber in the Yosemite region was logged out.
