One of 200 copies, bound in 1/4 cloth binding and paper covered boards by Grabhorn Press. 24 pages, color portraits of William Chapman Ralston and Elizabeth Fry Ralston. William Chapman Ralston (1826-1875) was a very successful San Francisco businessman and financier, founder of the Bank of California. When he married in 1858, he and his bride invited the wedding party to accompany them on their wedding trip to Yosemite. Here is reproduced the diary of Miss Sarah Haight (later Mrs. Edward Thompson), one of the bridesmaids, giving a first hand account of this extraordinary journey. Bookseller Inventory # 016215
