About this Item

Glued binding. xi, [1], 54, [2] p. Illustrations, black & white. Endnotes. From an on-line posting: "Despite over a decade of predominantly land warfare, American policymakers are unsure about the future relevance and utility of Landpower. An increasingly uncertain and ambiguous international security environment, combined with the complexities of modern warfare argues for greater clarification of what Landpower means in 21st century terms. William T. Johnsen served for over 7 years in the Strategic Studies Institute, where he specialized in U.S. and European security issues. He also held the Elihu Root Chair of Military Studies at the U.S. Army War College from 1994-97. He served as an Assistant Professor of History at the U.S. Military Academy, and as an Arms Control Analyst at the Supreme Headquarters, Allied Powers, Europe. Besides his numerous SSI studies, Dr. Johnsen contributed to Beyond East-West Confrontation; Searching for a New Security in Europe and has published journal articles on European and U.S. security affairs. Very good. Cover has slight wear and soiling. Bookseller Inventory # 70805
