About this title

Hello there!  I'm Reagan.

I want you to know

About something I learned today.

Ready?  Let s go!

Join Reagan as she discovers something special about rainbows and about herself, with light verse and illustrations by 12-year old Gigi Grace.

From the Back Cover:

Every human being finds inspiration in the people, places, and objects around them, as well as the world as a whole. But we also find inspiration, and motivation within, from our own dreams, and dreams we have for others. Reagan’s Rainbow Secret was born from a culmination of dreams, desire, and perseverance. Donna Gizzi always had a desire to write a book. She started many, wrote various articles, but didn’t complete a book. One day, Donna saw a drawing by he six-year old granddaughter Reagan, a colorful rainbow, and there she found her inspiration to write her first book.Reagan's Rainbow Secret takes readers into the secretive and colorful world of Reagan, a young girl who has a dream about a rainbow.  When she wakes up the next morning, she can't get the dream out of her head and she sets out to find a rainbow.  She realizes that by creating her own rainbow, she can create her own dreams, and aspirations. The rainbow gives her courage, and reflects her giving nature, and love for those around her. Reagan's determination and success reveal “the secret” to her, and she goes on to share it with her young readers (ages 4-8).The story is brought to life by the beautiful illustrations throughout, at the hand of Gigi Grace, a twelve-year old budding artist, who was inspired by Donna’s invitation to illustrate her first book.
