Dodd, Mead and Company, NY. A study of Kaiser Wilhelm during the first year of WWI. The author, who has direct access to the Kaiser, believes he is truly multi-facitited. While the Kaiser spoke of peace on the eve of the war, he was able to declare war when the time came. The writer elected to remain anonymous due to his “intimate realtions with the people of Germany would inconvienant for them” if his identy were known. The author is thought to be Ernest Charles Buley, an Australian jounalist, who had relatives in Germany. Good copy of the first edition. There is what appears to be two small drops of a glue, the gilded printing is faded on the front cover and virtually gone on the spine. No dust jacket. 230 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 26759
