About the Author:

Don Hinman and his wife Helen live in Yakima, Washington. Helen is a retired school counselor, in the mid-1980's she was by the National School Counselors Association for her work with special need students. They have two sons, Ron and Tom, and two grandsons, Quintin and Colton. They also raised 21 foster children and shared their home with nine foreign exchange students. They have traveled throughout the World plus they have visited each of their exchange students' homes. Don is an insurance broker and the President of Mid-Valley Insurance, Inc. He is the managing partner of H&H Property Management. H&H has owned apartment complexes, residential homes and an office building. Don is founder and Chairman of the Board of Yakima Neighborhood Health Services. Yakima Neighborhood Health is a large health, dental and mental health clinic in multiple locations in the beautiful Yakima Valley. Don has served on Yakima City Council.
