Publishers' taupe cloth with black titles and decoration to spine and upper board. Newspaper obituary of the Author loosely inserted. Cover cloth lightly soiled, rubbed with minor wear at spine tips and bruised at corners. Ffep and frontis repaired at hinge with adhesive tape; scattered foxing mainly to textblock edge and prelims. No annotation or inscriptions. Autobiography of "vastly-experienced boxing referee" and relative of Pedlar Palmer, who officiated in contests involving champions at all weights.
