Brown, originally from Pennsylvania, traveled the west in the 1830s onwards as president of the Pittsburgh Conference of the Associated Methodist Church. He eventually settled in Springfield, Ohio. Much of western and Methodist interest. A good plus copy with foxing to contents shelfwear to boards, as well as other normal signs of wear. Remains sound and quite usable.
