Contemporary sheep, spine with gilt-stamped leather label; binding much worn and rubbed, spine label partially lifted, spine head reinforced some time ago with library tape. Front joint (inside) cracked, back joint starting. Ex?social club library: paper shelving label on spine, 19th-century bookplate, call number on endpaper, title-page pressure-stamped, no other markings.
