Third edition, revised. Containing eight folding illustrations, not found in the previous two editions. Three quarter red leather binding, cloth boards. Original wrappers bound in. Inscribed by the author: "To John C. Lang, Esq., with A.J. Russell's compliments." Cloth boards somewhat soiled, but a very handsome copy. Holes in margins of title page and page 41 professionally repaired. (The holes are in the margin only and do not affect the text). Paper browning and somewhat brittle--some minor marginal tears and chips, but again not affecting the text. Thin scuff along gutter of front inside hinge. The eight plates, showing various scenes and towns, and the map are printed on higher quality paper and are fine. 197 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 6945
