About this title

Synopsis:

Hardcover vintage fishing book

From Library Journal:

With this work, Holt brings his fly-fishing trilogy to a close. He describes the Middle Fork of the Flathead as well as the Swan, Blackfoot, Sun, Jefferson, and Tongue rivers. Besides giving great detail on which flies are successful, Holt decries the modern demands on fishing streams made by mining, clear-cutting, and overgrazing. As a result of these intrusions, the habitat for native species such as the bull trout is being destroyed and cannot be easily restored. Besides these dark observations, Holt wittily tells the legend of the Wooly Bugger and his fantasy of stocking the Tongue River with Taimen, a salmonoid native to Siberia. The book includes maps, photographs, and destination information. Recommended for public libraries with avid fly-fishing patrons and Montana collections.

Terms of Sale:

Private merchant account, no taxes on sales and a standard shipping fee in accordance to rates.

Shipping Terms:

U.S. Shipping:
We ship our books according to media rate through the US Postal Services. This is the cheapest way for us to ship you your books. We will contact you if shipping will cost more than the listed price. Please note that heavier and larger-sized books will cost more to ship as the general shipping cost is used for average-weight/sized books. If you would like your book insured, specifically packed or delivered faster it will cost more and you will need to contact us.

All our packages are wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, peanuts or a combination thereof.

International Shipping:
As a standard for shipping, we ship all our books in a Global Priority Flat Rate mailer envelope. This costs just a couple bucks more than ground and will get there in 4 to 10 business days instead of the one to two months it would for Ground. Priority in a box costs a bit more (about 17.50,) but has that added bit of protection. We're more than happy to ship Ground for $9.00 or Express for $30.00. Let us know what you prefer if the option isn't listed.

All our packages are wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, peanuts or a combination thereof.
