IRISH-LANGUAGE POETRY, FROM THE LIBRARY OF DANIEL O'CONNELL WITH HIS BOOKPLATE. Large 4to. [26.6 x 21.6 cm]. iii-xxvi pp, 369 pp, (1). Lacking title-page, but extant as such while in the possession of Daniel O'Connell. Bound in contemporary half-calf, very rubbed, exposing a variety of ephemeral broadsides beneath the marbled paper of the boards. With the O'Connell armorial bookplate on pastedown; sold as Lot 1275 in the 1849 auction of Daniel O'Connell's library in Dublin (described as "Brooke's Irish Poetry, no title."). Printed in Irish type from p. 265-319; in the margin of one of these pages we find the signature of "Daniel O'Connell Esq., M.
