About the Author:

VLADIMIR G. LOOS, born in Kiev-City, the capital of Ukraine (in former Soviet Union), in 1938, emigrated to the USA in1995, citizen of the USA from 2001.He got two higher education (technical and physical education) and PhD in psychology in Ukraine, the license of Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the USA. He was devoted from the very young age to the ideas of freedom, respect of personality, private property, to honesty and honor. As many young intelligent in his former country he looked to the great America with hope, actively learned English, USA culture and history. He is a qualified psychologist, understands human soul and behavior, the psychology of small and big groups. He worked as an Assistant Professor in Ukrainian State University, in Ukrainian Institute of Teachers' Advanced Education, in Ukrainian physical Culture Institute, and as a researcher in Ukrainian Psychological Institute. He also worked as a psychologist in Ukrainian elite sports teams: world renowned soccer team "Dynamo", women's handball team "Avangard". During the youth years he played as a goalkeeper in the semi-professional and college soccer teams. As an Assistant Professor he taught general and experimental psychology, industrial and occupational psychology, mental measurement, sports and soccer psychology. As a scientist he conducted research in the area of industrial, occupational, counseling and sports psychology including the research of professional characteristic of successful school teacher, school principal, industrial manager, soccer coach and soccer referee. In the USA he worked as a social worker and psychotherapist. He published 39 scientific articles and 5 books (all in Ukraine) including Industrial Psychology (in Russian) and Psychoanalytical Aspects of Sports Activity.
