He was elected its first president, and was also the publisher of RIKUGO ZASSI a monthly magazine and several weekly Christian newspapers. Upon the death of Joseph Hardy Niishima the then president of Doshisha University, Kozaki became his successor. He was later elected president of Fukuin Domei Kwai and of the Kyokwai Domei [Federations of Chrches] when he came to Tokyo for the work of building up the Reinanzaka Church.
