Munsell, 1860. 112pp. plus eight extra-illustrations. Modern three quarter green morocco and marbled boards, gilt-tooled spine, t.e.g. Internally clean. Gilt morocco bookplate of noted Americana collector Frank Cutter Deering on fornt pastedown. Very good. Second edition, after the first of 1853. A charming sample of local history, with much on the Revolutionary War and the Federal period. The many extra-illustrations show sundry local luminaries such as Van Rensselaer and others.
